Alferini Golf Club
(also formerly known as Gran Flamingos)

Its 18-hole, 5.714 meter, par-71 course, designed by the prestigious course architect Antonio Garcia Garrido is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean.

The course provides a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Set in a valley, it is isolated from buildings and noise. The course has long fairways and wide greens. Many of the fairways are cut tightly through steep, rocky mountainside and demand both a straight tee shot and precise aiming. Each tee has 5 start platforms, making it a stern but fair test of golf for all players’ abilities.
It features two lakes and is surrounded by a stream that comes into play on most of the holes.

The greens are generously sized whilst its fairways are somewhat narrower on the front nine, where more precision playing is required than on the back nine. The bunkers are white marmolina sand. The fairways are sown with Bermuda, except on certain holes where grass has been used, whilst the greens and tees have been sown with Pencross.
