This museum is placed at the Palace or Hospital of Bazan. It seems to have been built in the 16th century over 3 Arab homes making the rooms asymmetrical. Renaissance, Gothic and Mudejar elements have been combined in the construction of the same. In ancient times it was the home of Mr. Alonso de Bazan, Perpetual Regent of the city.
It is reformed and conditioned and presently used as the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings, considered to be one of the best in the world.

The museum houses one of the largest collections of bonsais in Europe – including some of the best olive trees in the world. The museum is housed in the magnificent Parque Arroyo de la Represa. This is an unusual museum as it features bonsais – miniature trees whose growing technique is mainly Japanese.
The visit to the Museum is impressive and becomes a reflection on mother nature, at the same time as offering the opportunity of enjoying these small although great works of art, cultivated by the loving hand of their owner Miguel Angel Garcia.
