A Few Direct Words From the Designer : “The three courses in La Cala Resort are all very different in character. The new course Europa is the most different of the three because of the river Ojen – the others are in the hills. They are three good challenges and none is over long. Yet they are all very different in character. It gives a great option to golfers to have three 18-hole courses to choose from.”

Campo America hosted the Ladies European Tour Q-school in 2005 and 2006. It is longer than Asia and Europa courses,

The Asia course welcomed the top Spanish professionals in 2007 for 18th PGA Spanish Pairs Championship, won by Miguel Angel and Andres Jimenez.

	Campo America
	America course formerly the North Course, measures over 6,000 meters and is a par 72, with five par 5s. The first 3 holes are flat and open, which gives you some time to get in to your round without to many pressure shots. The America course is easier driving course than Asia and Europa. In addition, there are fewer fairway bunkers, two water hazards on the 9th and 16th. Three quarters of the greens are all elevated so good club selection required. Three of the par 5s are reachable in two for the big hitters. Holes 1 if you get off to a good start, 9 which will give you a risk and reward approach over water , and the 18 all down hill, three of the par 3s are quite short but testing.

	Campo Asia
	Asia course, formerly the South Course, Plenty of challenging holes shorter than the America course and some tricky holes to start. Club selection is more of a challenge than distance off the tees. With a good tee shot most club golfers will be looking at getting on in regulation which puts the pressure on the approach shot. Make it The 18th Hole is a good finishing hole don't leave your approach shot short as the terrace of the 19th hole over looking the green so you always have an audience to contend with. This lengthy par 5 could well wreck your scorecard.

	The New Course - Campo Europa
	Campo America was opened in March 2005. The fairways are generous from the tees and the greens are slightly larger with well placed bunkers. As the greens are not elevated it does not seem as long as the America course but still a par 71 at 6014 meters
