One of the coasts hidden gems, this course is situated a little out of Marbella on the road to Montemayor. The course belongs to a luxury hotel group and is for the use of its guests, it is not run as a commercial business to tour operators and very few of the golf holiday companies market this top quality track, they do however allow us to book a certain number of green fees .

Designed by Dave Thomas the course has a similar feel in its use of bunkers and water hazards to his projects at San Roque and the Belfry’s Brabazon course.

When we have played the course it has always been quiet and in first class condition with a friendly and helpful staff. It’s toward the top end of the market in price but a good challenge to medium and low handicappers with some long par 4 and tough approach shots.

The course is a hard walk and most people seem to take buggies.

The club has a nice thatched club house and bar and good shower facilities.

Allow some extra travelling time as the approach road is not great.
